Alexandra pulling wagon and pushing cart - September 2018

It all happened over the end of summer. The kidpulled the wagon with sister inside and all. And did a good job at it. Same holds true for the day she decided to push the stroller. The double stroller. With sister inside. Did a great job as well. Stayed on course.

Valeria not tall enough to ride - summer 2018

Really Valeria is okayed to ride in fast scary rides with me but not tall enough to ride on the ones that are mild (and which she was interested in), but that se had to go by herself!
Let’s just say I had a very angry and disappointed little girl walking around 6flags.

Want to go into each other’s dance -September 2018

Wondering whether I did the right thing by placing them into 2 separate dance classes/schools. Bc now I have a meltdown from one every time she sees the other go into her dance room.

Alexandra goes get her sister - September 2018

Valeria asking for axanda ‘s cup - September 2018

Alexandra obrigada por tudo. September 2018

She’s so eagerly social. So she pays attention to how you talk with people and repeats it.
We were at a birthday party and when t was time to leave I told the hostess “obrigada por tudo”. Alexandra immediately repeated the same sentence to the lady in the most natural way possible.

Valeria calls axanda while changing diaper - sep

Assanda. That’s how she currently calls her sister. In Portuguese.
In English it’s Aduendua.

Alexandra refers to Valeria as BebĂȘ Valeah.

Al Xandra first Sunday school - September 2018

I had to stay with her. And I stayed with her until he end of October.
In November I had to join the new members class, so she’s been staying on her own.

Alexandra - potty smile - September 2018

I got to Brazil and my friends girls who are 6 and 1 month older are already potty trained.
I had been too lazy with Alexandra. So back from Brazil I decided to take it seriously.
Got as much advise as I could from my friends.
And she’s been staying dry. We go potty just before and just after any event.
We even bought a potty watch, but the excitement of the watch was short lived.
She goes. She smiles the most beautiful smile when she pees in the potty. It’s a beautiful sight.
But...
Still not asking to go. She can tell you if she peed her pants. She can tell you that she didn’t. She can commit to staying dry in the car. She will gladly go if you tell her to when she really has to. But she won’t ask. So accidents happen often. Frustrating.

Alexandra - where’s god? - august 2018

We were at eating a pizza place after church on a Sunday when the pastor walks in to pick up his pizza. We briefly greeted each other while Alexandra attentively watched it and followed him out with her head. When he was out of sight she asked:
“Dad, where is God?”
